IS typically does not respond well to standard epileptic drug therapy. However, efficacy has been observed with vigabatrin, corticotropin (ACTH), topiramate and corticosteroids.

The internet can be a great resource for information about healthcare. The problem is making sure that what you find is accurate and reliable. This is especially true when the question at hand is regarding the care of a child. Parents need resources that provide concise, professional, correct, and up-to-date information about their child’s healthcare, specifically when it comes to medications. PPAG's website, KidsMeds, is a great resource for parents to find exactly this kind of information.
