Background
The Award is named inΒ memory of Joyce and Lloyd Christensen, the parents of Michael Christensen, PharmD, the 2009-10 Chair of the Board.Β Friends and colleagues of Dr. Christensen generously funded the award to recognize outstanding research achievements of early-career practitioners who are embarking on their journey as investigators. This award honors innovative and original research conducted by new practitioners who demonstrate exceptional promise in contributing valuable insights to their field through rigorous and creative inquiry.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Recipent must be a licensed pharmacist in practice five or less years (including residency)
2. We encourage submissions across all areas of pediatric pharmacy, including but not limited to: clinical research, practice innovations, quality improvement projects, and education-focused initiatives.
Application Process
To be considered for this award, the applicant should submit their poster abstract through the submission portal and designate that they are eligible and interested in being considered for this award.

Selection Criteria
Up to 5 poster abstracts are selected as finalists based on the quality of their abstract submissions. Award is granted to investigator based on the quality of their poster presentation at the annual meeting.
