Background

The William “Bill” Maish Student Chapter Award is presented to the PPA Student Chapter who presents the most compelling activities completed by their chapter in the previous year via poster presentation during the annual meeting. The award honors Bill Maish, an exemplary pediatric clinical pharmacist who served PPA for over 20 years as a committee member, committee chair and president. He was a faithful friend who loved his family, the outdoors and scouting. He was always kind and always gentlemanly. He guided and mentored many students and learners; his name is on this award to honor him and continue that legacy.
