2026 Virtual Residency Showcase – Program information:

Registration is for Residency Programs Only at this time. Student Participation Registration will open in August

We are excited to invite you to participate in the third annual PPA Virtual Residency Showcase! This virtual event will take place on October 13th and October 15th. This virtual event offers PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs the opportunity to connect with prospective candidates from across the country—without the need for travel or costly registration fees.

To ensure an equitable experience for all, participation will remain free for all candidates.

Cost: $100 Member/$200 Non Member
**Note: If your institution has both a PGY-1 and a PGY-2 and are participating in both days should contact Nnamdi Ibegbu – nibegbu@veritasamc.com to receive a code to register for the PGY-2 day at no cost prior to completing the registration.
PPA members who register on behalf of their programs will receive discounted registration.

New this year: PGY-1 and PGY-2 showcases will take place on different days, allowing for more targeted focus and participation.

Participating in the Virtual Residency Showcase is simple:

  • STEP 1: Register Your Program (Program registered by a PPA member receive reduced pricing!)
  • STEP 2: Select dates and program participation (PGY1 or PGY2 or BOTH!)
  • STEP 3: PPA will begin the resident and student registration and scheduling process on your behalf. We will send the access to the ZOOM meeting and relevant applicant materials and schedules to your primary contact on file.

FAQ:

If I have a PGY-1 and a PGY-2 Program do I have to pay two fees?

No – if you have a PGY-1 and a PGY-2 program please contact Nnamdi Ibegbu – nibegbu@veritasamc.com for a code before registering for PGY-2.  This will allow you to register for PGY-2 at no cost.

How many people will be in a session and how long will a session be?

Interview sessions will be 30 minutes and will have up to 10 participants for PGY-1.  PGY-2 will be 30 minutes and is a 1:1 interview.

When will I know what time my interview sessions will be?

PPA will reach out to you once participant registration closes, and we know how many participants selected your institution.  We understand the demands during the day and will try to accommodate the best we can.

When will I receive my final schedule, names and CV’s of participants?

Schedules will be sent out to programs and participants approximately 10 days prior to the event, or around the 3rd of October.
